Artist Statement 

what remains is stripping away the external to get to the core - my inner journey to find home. Once precious objects trigger the process of letting go and rebuilding. Found wooden suitcase coverings are shredded into nests revealing what lies beneath. Suspended chassis are visual meditations to enshrine forms that represent the power of nature. Making nests from societies forgotten and unwanted objects is a repetitious lament - a ritual expression of grief and loss.
